Wojnarowski Minnesota's one team that has been persistent with Philadelphia (Ben Simmons trade) but they've needed to have really third and even four teams in those kind of deals.

Bill Simmons I've kind of talked myself into the Paul George trade August 23rd took over 50 days it happened this week Paul George Hugo Ron Harper Baylor Scheiermanwe can replace Jaylen with bulk

Krawczynski The Wolves did have real discussions with the Celtics about Jaylen Brown Celtics wanted Rudy and Naz and it was going to be just too high of a price to pay I do think the Wolves are happier with the LaMelo fit

Bill Simmons They've screwed up almost a decade and a half of their franchise since 2019 They're not gonna have their pick in 2032 that's 13 years after the Kawhi signing They could basically throw a bar mitzvah in 2032 for how fucking stupid they are

Windhorst last few years wolves have lost a ton of money target center renovated about 5yrs ago and it went from a bottom 5 arena to a bottom 5 arena they arent in a position to squeeze more money because they just had a public supported renovation So its a challenging economic situation
