Windhorst"Yesterday there was a player on waivers yesterday that the Lakers could've claimed in Rodney Mcgruder who I thought would be a really nice pickup going forward...A well functioning front office would've grabbed him and guess who did, the LA Clip

Windhorst The Clippers were guilty of the same thing that the Nets were They had little brother syndrome They were so focused on not being the little brother anymore that they took way too big of gambles both teams were chasing The Lakers Knicks

Zach Lowe The Clippers are somewhere beyond fucked As recently as yesterday a front office exec from another team said 'Hey the Clippers are quietly positioning themselves in case Jokic wants to leave Denver with lots of cap space and LA and all that' Forget that This team is dead

Brian Windhorst with an interesting mention about Domantas Sabonis This last year Mintz executed the trade for Trae Young away from Atlanta Walker Kessler trade away from Utah And Sabonis just hired him He wants to get out of SAC - WindhorstESPN via TheHoopCollective

Brian Windhorst - I dont know if he Kawhi Leonard wants to go there Toronto Raptors but he has to go there He has to get out of Los Angeles

John Hollinger Nate Duncan Breaking down how the Clippers clearly circumvented the NBA salary cap with Bradley Beal similar to the Gary Trent situation and lost Ben Mathurin as a result

Lowe No question that they Lakers overpaid for him Kessler and are now trapped with this team and have to figure out either this is the team or is there a way to pivot by trading Austin Reaves Goldsberry He has to deodorize a stank at the POA with Austin Reaves and Luka Doncic
