Bontemps Let's call a spade a spade The Pacers made that trade because they're cheap Ivica Zubac is a good player but they made that trade amp gave up a premium to get him because he's on a very good contract so they could probably stay under the luxury tax which they haven't paid in 20 years

Brian Windhorst with an interesting mention about Domantas Sabonis This last year Mintz executed the trade for Trae Young away from Atlanta Walker Kessler trade away from Utah And Sabonis just hired him He wants to get out of SAC - WindhorstESPN via TheHoopCollective

Philadelphia 76ers President of Basketball Operations Mike Gansey Jaylens a huge piece to them so they Celtics were asking for a lot and I think we did give up a lot in this deal Paul George is still a really good player We gave up some valuable picks

John Hollinger Nate Duncan Breaking down how the Clippers clearly circumvented the NBA salary cap with Bradley Beal similar to the Gary Trent situation and lost Ben Mathurin as a result

Lowe No question that they Lakers overpaid for him Kessler and are now trapped with this team and have to figure out either this is the team or is there a way to pivot by trading Austin Reaves Goldsberry He has to deodorize a stank at the POA with Austin Reaves and Luka Doncic

Bill Simmons I think one of the reasons they made the trade is they felt like he Paul George might be a better fit at this point in Jayson Tatum's career I think they were feeling like it was a better basketball fit and I think they wanted some of their other younger wings to play more

KOC On Lakers adding Kessler There's a reason why he costed that much He's an elite interior defender elite lob guy elite interior finisher elite screener and he started hitting spot up threes last year There's a chance we look back at this deal as an underpay depending on how he performs
