For us to do anything great we're going to need Ja As a competitor I love to push guys to their limit I've done it over in Boston I want to be able to have that same relationship with Ja Marcus Smart

Marcus Smart on playing with Kevin Durant I get to be on the other side of him taking the shots and not taking the shots over mehis ability to make shots it doesn't matter who's there And it also doesn't help that he's close to seven foot and I'm close to six foot

Jayson Tatum on Jaylen Brown For me I love that guy You cant talk about him without talking about me and vice versa Unfortunately the business of basketball is always going to play a part Nobody has ever played together forever

Brad Stevens on trading Jaylen Brown for Paul George Its something that you have to just say do you think where we currently are will get us to where we ultimately want to go If not does it make sense to explore other pathways even if that could be very tough in the near term

Jaylen Brown on what the team most needs from himI'm not sure completely yet I think we'll figure it out as time goes on I'm excited just to be myselfOne thing I can promise the city and the organization and the coaching staff - that I'm coming every single day and be myself

Tyrese Maxey on VJ Edgecombes role next season I was in this same kind of predicament my 2nd year when James Harden came to the teamas soon as James got there him and Joel said dont think that this changes anything for you as far as your progression

Jaylen Brown on what he's looking forward to this season I'm looking forward to every part of the journey every practice film session but honestly the journey kind of starts now We got a lot of talent we got a great opportunity and I wanna make it work
