Charania I think when you look at this situation for Damian Lillard You have to wonder if he's going to play another game for the Portland Trail Blazers I expect there to be real conversations this off-season

Damian Lillard sends the Thunder home

Charania The Knicks and Karl-Anthony Towns unlikely to reach contract extension Towns is eligible for a 4-year 276M max extension He has a 61M player option for the 2027-28 season and could become a free agent This is a cloud going into training camp

Adam Silver I would see it as a failure if we did not keep the team in Portland We need a state of the art arena By any objective measure the current building there in the bottom measure of any arena in the league

Charania I had one executive tell me last night that the Clippers were essentially acting like a power agent brokering deals for Kawhi Leonard That's millions and millions of cash flow coming into Kawhi By mid-2021 Kawhi had pocketed tens of millions of dollars in no-show endorsement deals

Charnia Going back to Toronto this is a complete legacy play for Kawhi Detroit Minnesota and other teams wanted to trade for him and extend him

Michael Porter Jr reacts to hearing the Lakers roster Yeah I don't like that roster Might be solid but I don't see them winning a chip
